Two minor girls raped in nepal during 16 days of activism against VAW

Two minor girls have been allegedly raped in Siraha district on Wednesday. The victims are  a 14-year-old girl of  Bhawanipur Kalabanjar VDC and another is a  12-year-old Dalit girl from  Ayodhyanagar VDC .

According to the police, "  The accused of both the cases are absconding. We have launched manhunts to nab both the accused.

Looking at data around  48 cases of rape involving minor girls have been reported in the last five years in Siraha. However, only 24 of them have been registered at several police offices. And, of the 24 registered cases, only 21 have been settled by the district court.
