A girl attacked for refusing a marriage proposal

Rabindra Thagunna of 23 had thrown acid over the body of a 11th grader nineteen-year-old girl while she was on the way to school at Geta VDC-4 in Dhangadi.
The victim was  approached by the culprit for marriage and when she refused it she was attacked. The local girl had sustained serious injuries to her neck and face. She is undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.

The incident occurred on December 9 has come to public notice when the victim side lodged a complaint at the police office on last Sunday lately.

Police arrested the convict, who was at large after the incident, from Kathmandu.
