Women Trafficking agents caught in action
Jhapa: In a desperate attempt to fight against women trafficking the Jhapa Police have rescued five teenage girls and a woman from Bhadrapur of Jhapa who were being trafficked to New Delhi in the name of foreign employment in Dubai.
The police have arrested Krishna Gurung 50 while he was trying to traffic the people. The agents have been alluring women showing foreign employment as a bait and trafficking them to big cities for hardcore prostitution. The police was informed by a source where they resqued Sangita Bisankhe(19) Thangpaldhap, Sushma Tamang (19) Bhimkharka-8, Pratima Tamang (19) Gumsa-2, Anita Tamang (20) Sindhupalchowk, Ambika Roka (19) Dhading and Sita Danuwar (30 ) Sarlahi.
Sarlahi: Two women trafficking agents were arrested while trying to cross Nepal-India border from Malangawa border in Sarlahi by the Nepal Armed Police Force(AFP). The agents were caught red handed with 3 girls Som Maya Moktan of Makawanpur, Lila Thapa of Morang and Jangmi Sherpa of Dolakha. The arrested have been identified as Bir Bahadur Tamang of Sindhupalchowk and Chandra Bahadur Moktan of Atrauli VDC, Sarlahi. According to the victims the agents had promised good pay and easy life abroad.
