Woman killed for not conceiving a baby

 A 22-years-old Rita Devi of Mahuvan VDC in Parsa was allegedly murdered by her husband Ram Sah Teli for not being able to conceive a baby in Birgunj. They were married for nine years.

According to Rita's Family,  "Rita's was being forced and physically physically and mentally tortured for not being able to convince a baby."

According to the police, "The husband and  his brother, strangled Rita to death on Thursday night allegedly for not being able to give birth to a child  after the marriage.Both have been arrested and further investigation is going on in the case."
