Kavre rape case in progress and Threatened for settlement

In connection of the Kavre Rape case the accused have offered Nrs 1 million in settlement of withdrawing the case from the court.

The 17-year-old girl from Hokse of Panchkhal Municipality in Kavrepalanchok district was offered the money to the victim and her parents on Tuesday.

Though the victim have refused for any sort of settlement, they have been openly threatened for their lives. The girl was gang-raped by three persons at a restaurant in Dolalghat on January 21.

Police had nabbed two persons – Aaditya Adhikari (22) of Panchkhal-3 and Samir Shrestha (19) of Panchkhal-6 – in connection to the incident.

Police have already filed a case against them at the District Court, Dhulikhel.



 A 17-year-old teenager girl was gang-raped by three youth at a hotel in Dolalghat  of Kavre on Wednesday.

 Aditya Adhikari (22) and Samir Shrestha (19) from Panchkhal-4  were arrested by police in connection of the crime.

The girl was invited as a singer at the function organised to mark Adhikari's birthday on Wednesday afternoon.
