2 teenager girls face the terror of acid attackers
Buzzing around with terror Kathmandu saw one of the most
horror acts of Violence Against Women (VAW). Sangita Magar and Sima Basnet two
teenagers were attacked with acid on their faces by an unidentified group of
people while studying at a tuition center in Jhochhen, Basnatapur in the
morning.
According to the Police, “Both were studying when a group of four people barged in and attacked both. Magar who is a permanent resident of Khaniyapani in Ramechhap district, is said to be in critical condition while Basnet's condition is stable. Both are students of Shanti Nikunja School at Maruhiti in the Capital and were preparing for the SLC examinations. Magar is undergoing treatment at KMC Hospital while Basnet is admitted to Bir Hospital."
