Nepal lifts ban over migrant women going to UAE

23rd September Kathmandu Nepal: Nepal has lifted its year-long travel ban on sending migrant women to UAE. Previously, Nepali women were not allowed and had a age restricting for women working abroad.  The Nepalese government has reduced the age restriction from 30 to 20, but individuals in the UAE who wish to hire a Nepalese maid will now have to go through an agency, instead of contacting the country’s embassy in Abu Dhabi directly.
